Yoshiki’s upcoming interview appearance at L.A.’s Grammy Museum sold out lightning-fast, and the anticipation continues to grow for the August 27 release. An audio preview is available on SoundCloud and Yoshiki (via Twitter) promises his fans “Doing the #Classical #album doesn’t mean that I can’t fxxkin #ROCK ! haha #WeAreX!”

Yoshiki Classical sees collaborations between Yoshiki and legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Quartet San Francisco. The end result is a beautiful symphonic collection driven by soaring strings, smart piano pieces and the melodic style of Yoshiki’s earlier work. A prelude to the highly anticipated and long awaited new album from X Japan, Yoshiki has released “Miracle” from Yoshiki Classical as the first single, which is the opening composition of X Japan’s World Tour. Yoshiki’s classical music will be available to purchase worldwide for the first time outside of Japan.
