Tomoyasu Hotei to tour Berlin, London, and New York

Hotei Announces International Tour Dates- Berlin, London, and NY

Legendary Japanese rock guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei (Boøwy, Kill Bill) has confirmed plans for his upcoming international tour this November 2013. Hotei will play 3 exclusive shows in total: November 3rd at The Lido Berlin, November 9th at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, and November 14th at Highline Ballroom in New York.

Tomoyasu Hotei, best known internationally for his original song, “Battle Without Honor or Humanity”, instantly recognizable as the theme from Quentin Tarantino’s film Kill Bill, boasts a stellar career spanning more than three decades. Hotei’s accomplishments as a guitarist, composer, singer-songwriter, and producer place him firmly among the ranks of global music legends.

The November 9th show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire will be Hotei’s second consecutive show in London following a performance in the city last December, and plans include an extensive state-of-the-art visual presentation, not to be missed.

Hotei has not performed in Germany in over 10 years, and the Highline Ballroom will be Hotei’s first ever performance in NY, so both shows will be highly anticipated.

In all shows, Hotei will perform songs from his extensive catalog including the acclaimed Kill Bill theme song “Battle Without Honor or Humanity.”

He will be joined by drummer Zachary Alford, who played on David Bowie’s latest album, The Next Day, and the well known New York-based British bassist, Tony Grey. For the London show, Toshiyuki Kishi (keyboard/programming) and Steve Eto (percussion) will also join the band for what promises to be an amazing performance.
