Contrary to the lazy-sounding name of former SuG member Takeru’s solo project, sleepyhead, he’s been pretty active. At his first concert on March 17, the vocalist revealed his first full album DRIPPING will be released on June 20th, followed by his first tour in July.
The album will have 13 tracks total, and will also be available in limited edition which comes with the live DVD of his first show where the announcement was made at Shibuya’s TSUTAYA O-EAST, “0TH ANNIVERSARY LIVESHOW ‘Tomei Shingetsu’”. Included with the limited edition is a pillowcase designed in collaboration with million dollar orchestra, a fashion brand Takeru also happens to work for as a designer.
sleepyhead’s first tour will begin on July 6th with stops in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Not one to forget his overseas fans, Takeru said, “I would like my album to reach everybody around the world and I also would like to play shows abroad. At this stage it is still hard to realize, but I won’t give up and will definitely take on this challenge. Please keep supporting me.”
